According to a new study, the average daily rates for Brazilian hotels, is among the fastest growth rates in the world. The average daily rates for hotels in Brazil have increased by 10,4% and is largely due to the well performing economy in Brazil. More than 340 hotels, resorts and condos in Brazil were included in the study.
Almost 93% of the hotels in Brazil are not affiliated to a hotel brand, which represents 75% of the total number of hotel rooms in the Brazilian hotel market. To no surprise, many hotel groups, both domestic and international, are increasing their presence in Brazil and several hotel groups are targeting many of the smaller independently operated hotels in Brazil.
Currently 153 hotels are under construction, and will be operated by hotel groups who already have a presence in Brazil. Majority of the coming hotels will be targeting the middle economical segments, which is the segment in Brazil with the fastest growth numbers.
Along with increasing hotel accommodations in Brazil, the occupation levels and rates for rental properties in Brazil are also set to improve along with economical growth in Brazil.
