Casa Brasil project kicks off international marketing for FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

When the final whistle blows in the 2010 World Cup in 2010, the international promotion of the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil will start. Even though the 2010 World Cup has only now begun, the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism is already present in South Africa for getting a head start to the international promotion of the 2014 World Cup.

Located in the Sandton Convention center in Johannesburg and labeled as the "Casa Brasil" project, the aim is to introduce the "Brazil Sensational Experience” to the world. All the cities that will host the World Cup in 2014, will be presented in the Casa Brasil project. Visitors will be able to see the enormity of Brazil as a destination. The casa Brasil space has eight rooms all showcasing the best of Brazil ranging from beaches, art, modernity, music, culture, people, history and gastronomy. During the event, the "sensational bus" will also circulate around the city for promoting Brazil.

More than 200 journalists from over 18 countries attended the opening ceremony of the Casa Brasil project in Johannesburg.

During the 2010 World Cup, the official logo of the 2014 FIFA World Cup will also be presented on the 8th of July. As soon as the 2010 World Cup is over, the official marketing will start for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The Brazilian ministry of tourism has solid plans for developing Brazil into a leading destination for international tourism and the 2014 World Cup plays an important role in promoting the country to the international market.

Brazilian Homes will soon write more about what the impact of past World Cups has been on tourism arrival numbers in host countries. Usually increasing numbers of international tourism arrivals also tend to have a positive impact on property prices. We forecast that there will be significant price increases also for properties in Brazil.
