Natal hosts World Cup 2014

It is now confirmed; Natal is one of the cities in Brazil that will host the FIFA World Cup in 2014. The current football stadium in Natal will be completely rebuilt, and the costs for the stadium is estimated at 300 million BRL. The stadium will be part of a mega project which will feature hotels, multi-use arena, theatres, shopping, parking and an administrative center for the local Natal administration. Total costs for the whole project is estimated at 1,5 billion BRL.

Due to the mega investments it is estimated that the property and real estate market in Natal will benefit enormously as a result of Natal hosting the World Cup 2014.
