New flights from the USA to Natal Brazil
The local government in Natal Brazil, has started talks with American Airlines about offering flights from Miami to Natal in the northeast of Brazil. Later in the year, an event will take place in the USA discussing the issue at greater details and other cities in northeastern Brazil will be represented as well.
Lately the city of Natal has been making good progress with attracting more flights into the city, and recent numbers from leading Brazilian operator CVC reveals that Natal is the Nr 1 tourist destination in northeastern Brazil. Along with an ever growing interest for the "sun city", it is forecasted that the tourism market in Natal will continue to grow at a faster rate than many other regions in Brazil.
Earlier this month, Brazilian airline TAM accounded a new weekly charter flight into Natal starting from the 20th of May.
A few weeks ago, Delta Airlines requested a code-sharing agreement with Brazilian airline GOL which would increase the amount of American tourists flying to Brazil. So far in 2010, Latin American air traffic for Delta has been showing a growth of 25,4% and Brazil is playing a significant role in the Latin American market.
The Northamerican market is still largely untapped in the northeast of Brazil, but given the growing demand combined with new air rutes, this is likely to change in the near future. This is of course welcoming news for our clients who have bought investment property in Brazil as it will bring even more clients looking for holiday homes and Brazil vacation rentals alike.
